Lollapalooza Special Event

Additionally, this project was to learn about design systems. There is an intro, 2 mockups of artists, and 2 OOH's. For my concept, I used heat maps, which visualize intensity, but “collective temperature” explains where that heat comes from, the thousands of people reacting together in real time. It shifts the focus to human experience, which is central to Lollapalooza’s culture. Together, the phrase “collective temperature” suggests that music, movement, and emotion raise the “temperature” of the space, the city, and the crowd. The heat maps represent the crowd. Heat = energy, intensity, and chaos, and Cool = calm, and space.
